The 2008 Komen Greater Lansing Race for the Cure® was a HUGE success! Because of the passion and commitment of individuals like you, 6,700 women, men and children came out to fight breast cancer, one step at a time.

Even more incredible than the total number of Race participants is the financial impact of your combined efforts. In honor, in support and in memory of those affected by breast cancer, you raised a record number of funds. With more than $475,000 in race entry fees, donations, and sponsorship dollars, we are making a difference right here in mid-Michigan, as well as in funding national breast cancer research. That is an increase of $200,000 more than last year! WOW!
